The Account Executive at Champion Elevator is a front-line sales professional responsible for generating revenue through elevator maintenance contracts, repair services, and modernization project leads. This role is focused on high activity, strong relationship building, and disciplined pipeline management. The Account Executive will actively prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities while also nurturing existing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate is results driven, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, field-based sales environment. This is a quota-carrying role with clear targets tied to monthly and annual revenue objectives.
Inside Sales
An Account Executive (AE) is a salesperson. AEs are salespeople who have revenue targets to hit. By continuously engaging with leads via email or call, AEs aim to convert opportunities in the sales pipeline to closed deals. A sales development representative (SDR) is an inside sales representative that focuses on outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification. SDRs don’t focus on closing business, but connecting with as many leads as possible and determining if they’re good customer fits. SDRs move leads through the sales pipeline.
Inside sales refers to the practice of selling products or services remotely, typically through phone, email, or online communication channels, rather than in person. This approach is often used by companies that sell to a large number of customers or operate in geographically dispersed markets.
Inside sales teams may use a variety of tools and technologies to manage their sales process, such as customer relationship management (CRM) software, video conferencing platforms, and automated email marketing tools. They may also rely on data analytics and market research to identify potential customers and tailor their sales approach accordingly.
One of the advantages of inside sales is that it allows companies to reach a much larger audience than traditional face-to-face sales methods, while also reducing travel and other associated costs. Inside sales can also provide a more flexible and convenient experience for customers, who can interact with sales representatives at their own convenience. However, it does require a strong focus on building relationships and engaging with customers through remote channels, which can be challenging for some salespeople.
