Phone Screen

The first step in the interview process for most software developer roles is a phone screen. This is usually conducted by a recruiter or a member of the hiring team and is designed to assess the candidate's basic qualifications and suitability for the role.

Technical Assessment

On-site Interview

If the candidate passes the initial phone screen and technical assessment, they will typically be invited to an on-site interview. This may involve meeting with multiple members of the hiring team and may include technical interviews, behavioral interviews, and/or whiteboarding sessions.

  • back-up plan is to have 3-4 team members conduct individual 45 min interviews

Final Interviews

After the on-site interview, the candidate may be invited back for final interviews with senior members of the team or company leadership. These interviews are often focused on assessing the candidate's fit with the company culture and vision, as well as their long-term potential to contribute to the organization.

Offer

If the candidate performs well throughout the interview process and is deemed a good fit for the role and the company, they will typically receive an offer of employment.
